Located in the bustling heart of San Diego’s Sorrento Valley, Gravity Heights is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. This unique culinary destination effortlessly blends flavors from various cultures, creating a menu that is both diverse and inventive. Whether you're seeking a hearty brunch or a laid-back happy hour with friends, Gravity Heights promises a delightful escape from the ordinary. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance of relaxed and modern, making it inviting for both casual diners and those looking to impress.

On my recent visit, I delighted in the Pork Belly Hash, a dish that exemplifies their creative approach to comfort food. Every bite showcased the rich flavors and textures that make such combinations special. The Meat Lover Pizza was another highlight, bursting with ingredients that sang in harmony, making it a satisfying choice for any pizza aficionado. And who can resist the Dirty Fries? Perfectly crispy with an indulgent twist, they are a must-try.

But the crown jewel of my meal was undoubtedly the Cinnamon Rolls. Served hot from the oven in a rustic iron skillet and overflowing with a luscious cream cheese frosting, these pastries were a revelation. It was a sweet finale that caught me by surprise and left me dreaming of my next visit.

The drink menu can’t be overlooked either; I savored their freshly squeezed mimosa, a classic that stood out for all the right reasons. The genuine flavor made each sip refreshing—a testament to the attention to detail that Gravity Heights prides itself on.

The service matched the quality of the food, adding warmth to the overall experience. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, enhancing the laid-back vibe. One customer noted the exceptional experience at happy hour, and I can only imagine how enjoyable it would be to unwind with a cocktail or two as the sun sets over San Diego.

Gravity Heights is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary gem where craft meets comfort. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this establishment is worth a stop. I left with a full belly and a newfound appreciation for their innovative menu—can’t wait to explore even more in my next visit!

What a successful choice to be here! I’m so happy that I chose this beautiful place to have brunch with my friend who I haven’t seen for one and half years. Both her and I loved this place. We have really similar taste. So we ordered all the things that we both loved. About the foods we ordered, the Pork Belly Hash, The Meat Lover Pizza and The Dirty Fries, they are all super great. We loved how they combine every different culture’s cuisine together to make their own unique style. Most surprisingly, we loved the cinnamon rolls, totally surprised us with serving in a hot iron pan and loaded cream cheese frosting. You should totally order this as your dessert!

Exceptional happy hour! The agua chiles and the smashburger are a great value and extremely flavorful. Space heaters made dining nice and comfortable. Great spot to catch up with friends and coworkers.

Joseph took really good care of us at the bar. I was surprised to see a 45-minute wait when we arrived after work on a Tuesday. Luckily we found a couple spots at the bar. Cocktails were "Vibe check" and "bikini bottoms". Had the hummus and the birria enchiladas. Outstanding. It's a gorgeous place but the clientele has big Qualcomm energy, which is okay if you're into that.

Great food, great setting, fun people! I was a big fan of Prep Kitchen in Del Mar and LJ and this lives up to that legacy! Love the menu, and the vibe! A "hidden gem" on the heart of the business area in Sorrento Valley. Has a mix of indoor and outdoor seating- both great! I haven't been to Happy Hour here yet, but I'm guessing it's a blast- and the beer is top notch.

Tucked into the heart of San Diego’s laid-back coastal culture, Gravity Heights delivers a brunch experience that balances craft, comfort, and creativity—and it might just be your new go-to spot. Pistachio & Orange Donut Holes – 5/5 These aren’t your average donut holes. Each bite-sized delight arrives with a satisfyingly crisp exterior that gives way to a warm, soft, and impossibly moist interior. The pistachio sugar adds a nutty, subtly sweet crunch that plays perfectly with the velvety Grand Marnier French cream—lightly boozy, citrusy, and decadently smooth. It’s a thoughtfully balanced dish that tastes as playful as it is elegant. Hands down, some of the best donut-style treats I’ve ever had. Fried Chicken, Biscuit & Gravy – 5/5 This dish is a comfort food symphony. The fried chicken boasts an incredibly crispy coating with a juicy, tender center—moist and flavorful, not greasy. It’s a testament to how proper frying technique and seasoning can elevate a simple dish to something exceptional. Paired with a soft buttermilk biscuit, perfectly cooked eggs, and a sage-laced sausage gravy that, surprisingly, hits just the right portion mark, this plate manages richness without overwhelming. Every bite is layered and satisfying. Mimosa – 5/5 A solid, refreshing brunch classic. The best part? It’s made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, which gives it a clean, natural flavor that sets it apart from the syrupy versions you sometimes get elsewhere. It’s simple, fresh, and just right for a sunny San Diego morning. Atmosphere & Service – 5/5 The vibe at Gravity Heights is unmistakably San Diego: relaxed, modern, and unpretentious. It strikes the right balance between trendy and welcoming, without feeling like it’s trying too hard for the ‘Gram. Sitting at the bar gave a front-row view of the action, where the bartenders were impressively multitasking without ever compromising on attentiveness or friendliness. Food and drinks arrived promptly, and the entire experience felt smooth and well-paced. Final Verdict From the crisp-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside donut holes to the expertly fried chicken and sunny mimosa, Gravity Heights nails both flavor and vibe. This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression—not just for the food, but for the full package. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to return to explore more of the menu. Rating: (5/5)

Great place for drinks and elevated bar food. We usually do a group meetup for happy hour here. They have specials on drinks and food. Our server and the kitchen staff were great at getting our drinks and orders out quickly. Their prickly pear Margarita was so pretty and delicious. We ordered tuna salad appetizer and that was pretty good though I wish it came with normal less flavorful crackers rather than buttery Ritz crackers. We ordered pita bread with the hummus and we all really liked the naan-like pitas. The chicken wings were crunchy and the pepperoni pizza was a good size. The Carmel budino was a bit too runny and not like other thicker budinos I've had elsewhere. It was a bit disappointing. The cookie in the cast iron pan was so good! Order one if you like shift gooey chocolate chip cookies.
